But now i have to deal with petty stuff like this to even get going grrrrr. Its bad enough i have to stress over learning all the ffmpeg, codec stuff, and more about movies than i ever cared about to make this plugin.
So i thought it might be my plugin files since they came off the other server maybe the owner permission on them is wrong, so i went thru and changed the permission on those files, nope still same error. But now that i try to do my plugin again, i get the same thing, mkdir permission denied. But now i am back to square one, this time i uploaded the zip of the software to public html and unzipped it thinking that it would set all the owner permissions good. So then i told my host that i wanted to start over and just zap my public html and i thought that would work. Did not work, so then via cpanel file manager i changed the permission to public_html to 777, and it worked, then i changed it back. So then i opened up filezilla using my cpanel account and went thru and redid a bunch of permissions. When i uploaded the software i did so using my self created ftp account with public_html access (instead of using my cpanel login for the ftp) so i thought that maybe there was a permission issue there. So i did some reading and at first i thought i had it figured out. I got a host with ffmpeg but every time i upload the software and run my plugin i get mkdir permission denied. This is crazy(i have none of these issues on the other server) i am having such a bad week. No sir not yet, thanks for that, i am still fighting permission issues.
